Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need internet to use DigitalWTN?

No. DigitalWTN works offline at the weighbridge. Receipts are saved locally first, then synced to cloud storage when you're back online. Submissions to Defra queue automatically.

What happens if a Defra submission fails?

If a submission fails (due to network issues or Defra downtime), the receipt is saved locally and the system automatically retries when connectivity is restored. You'll never lose a receipt.

How many receipts can I record per month?

Unlimited. There are no volume limits. Record as many receipts as your site receives.

Is this Defra compliant?

Yes. DigitalWTN is built specifically for the October 2026 Defra Digital Waste Tracking mandate. It submits receipt data directly to Defra's API and returns Waste Tracking IDs for your records.

What does "Early Adopter" mean?

Early adopters lock in the lowest possible rate for life and get priority support during the beta phase. In exchange, we ask for your feedback to help us build the best receipt recording tool for weighbridge operators.

Can producers and carriers use DigitalWTN?

Version 1 is receiver-only. DigitalWTN focuses on receipt recording and Defra submission for waste receiving sites.
